Dee began his electrical and instrumentation career in 1996. Starting as an apprentice with commercial installations, he helped complete many projects, including churches, grocery stores and schools.
In 2000, Dee began working at Dugway Proving Grounds on a chemical munitions’ disposal program. He later supervised various commercial projects.
Dee attained his journeyman electrician license in 2002 and by 2006 he was supervising the upgrade of all pump stations at Great Salt Lake Mineral Corporation—installing standalone PLCs for the automation upgrade of the Great Salt Lake ponds. Then, in 2008, Dee took on the Position of Project Manager for the Chevron North Salt Lake Refinery where he managed anywhere from 20-85 workers.
In 2017, Dee proudly joined Winward as a Project Manager. One year later, he became a principal where he has grown the company’s Industrial Division and helps with daily operations.
When Dee is not at work, he loves spending time with his family, along with hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.
